This is built with CCM's RocketFrame, which is A NHL-caliber lightweight composite material, for a lightweight boot that wont compromise on stiffness.

The 9090 has also been upgraded to an extra stiff carbon composite outsole that offers superior torsional rigidity. This will result in a more explosive stride, maximizing energy transfer.

CCM has made an upgrade to the liner, with a new TotalDri Pro liner. The upgrade offers a more durable liner that wicks moisture and sweat away from the boot. Combine this with the vent hole, the two working together keep the boot lightweight and keep your feet feeling dry for longer.

The TriTech Flex Tongue was first introduced with the CCM JetSpeed FT1 skate and returns with the 9090. The base is a familiar 7mm white felt pro tongue and is supplemented with a medium density foam insert to disperse the tightening pressure of the laces.
